Whole House Repipe
This video shows a whole house repipe of the water supply system in a residential home. The video walks through the different areas like the garage, kitchen, laundry and a bathroom. All of the areas are clean and the drywall pieces are stacked neatly nearby. The PEX pipe is properly strapped in the walls and every fixture has a new angle stop valve. There are stud guards to protect the pipes and spray foam to help hold them in place.
We also, have brass shut off valves everywhere it is applicable and air arrestors where needed. The thermal expansion valve is located at the main water shut off outside which is not shown in the video. All of our wall penetrations are sealed for both interior walls and exterior walls.
This is just an example of the way a repipe job may look after our Plumbers are finished. Of course, every repipe is different. Your particular job may look very different from this. This repipe utilized the attic space but many repipes utilize a crawl space instead.
